PRP Roofing is excited to host a hands-on technical installer training focused on DECRA and Tilcor stone coated steel roofing systems. This event is designed for roofing professionals who want to strengthen their installation knowledge, improve field performance, and gain a better understanding of the details that matter when working with premium stone coated metal roofing products.

The training will take place on Thursday, May 28, from 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM at the Premium Roofing Products warehouse, 8037 Treiman Blvd, Webster, Florida. This event will be presented by Chris Willingham and hosted by Premium Roofing Products, also known as PRP Roofing.

HANDS-ON TRAINING FOR DECRA AND TILCOR ROOFING SYSTEMS

This technical training is built for installers who want more than a basic product overview. Attendees will work through real installation concepts and field-focused techniques for DECRA and Tilcor stone coated steel roofing systems. The goal is to provide practical instruction that can be applied on actual jobs.

Topics will include profile differences, proper layout, fastening methods, critical roof details, and installation best practices. Valleys, hips, ridges, rakes, and other key transition areas will be discussed so contractors can better understand how these premium roofing systems should be installed for long-term performance and appearance.

CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AND TEST DECK TRAINING

The day will begin with product and technical training in the classroom from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. During this portion of the event, attendees will review DECRA and Tilcor products, system components, jobsite preparation, layout, fastening techniques, and important technical details.

From 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM, guests will enjoy a lunch break with coffee and breakfast snacks provided in the morning as well as a catered lunch from a local favorite.

After lunch, the training will move to the test deck from 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM. This hands-on portion will give attendees the opportunity to see live demonstrations, review important install details, and gain direct experience working with the products in a practical setting.
